Meet Our Coaches
Liz Phillips
Liz has over 15 years in lacrosse as a player, coach, and official. She played at the University of Colorado-Boulder, a Division 1 program, and was a team captain for three years, playing various positions before settling as a midfielder. Liz’s coaching career includes working with Team 180 in Denver and contributing to the University of Colorado-Boulder and Air Force lacrosse camps. Liz is from Monument, Colorado. She enjoys paddle boarding, hiking, and snowboarding, balancing a vigorous sporting career with a love for outdoor adventures.
Elyse Caiazzo
Elyse brings a wealth of experience, passion, and dedication to the girls’ lacrosse program. With a background in both playing and coaching, she is committed to developing strong, skilled athletes while fostering teamwork, leadership, and sportsmanship on and off the field. She played lacrosse and field hockey at Saint Joseph's College in Maine, as a starting midfielder, earning first-team all-district, all-conference, and academic honors during her 4 years. Currently, Elyse works at Bitter Root Land Trust in Hamilton, MT. She enjoys hiking, cross-country skiing, and adventuring with her dog, Atlas.
Meghan Fox
Meghan grew up in Arlington, VA, and has been coaching lacrosse since high school. A former player at York College of Pennsylvania, she helped her team reach three NCAA Elite Eights and earned All-American honors while playing attack and taking the draw. Most recently, she was an assistant coach at Seattle Academy, where the team won their first Washington State Championship in 2023. Meghan is currently a 2nd-year master's student at the University of Montana.
HUNTER HEASTON
Hunter is from Castle Rock, Colorado. He started as goalie for the University of Montana lacrosse team for five years leading the team to three national championships. During the course of his career earning 24’ All-American Honors, 24’ Conference Defensive Player of the Year, three years of first-team selections, and secured the all-time save record at UM. Throughout college, and since he graduated from the Environmental Studies program at UM, Hunter has sought to pass his experience onto others and strengthen Missoula women's lacrosse.
